PFN Calls on FG to Take Drastic Actions

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to take drastic actions in order to resolve the lingering economic and security challenges facing the nation.

The call was made in an exclusive interview with the Independent Newspapers by the PFN chairman, Bishop Sola Ore.

Lamenting on the renewed threat by the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, Bishop Ore pleaded that the Niger Delta Avenger should shield their sword, blaming the local leaders for incompetence.

According to him, “It is unfortunate because I wonder why they would want to take up arms when the Federal government has tried in providing them with amnesty programme.  If the amnesty programme is not working then it is not the fault of the Federal government but that of the local leaders which is part of the pains that the society is suffering.

“If the present administration is decisive on the herdsman attacks the Niger Delta Avengers would not have been saying this. The herdsmen seem to be special to the present government. Our advice and appeal to the Niger Delta Avengers is that they should not do what they have pledged to do.”
