Concerning the song, he said “Still Standing is a song I wrote out of anger on my way home from church on a Sunday afternoon. I was set up by people I thought really cared about me and I was faithful to them in all. They reported me to immigration as an illegal alien in the United States of America. They wanted me deported, but unknowingly to them, I had gotten some of my papers and it all worked out for my good. Even my attorney was trying to blackmail me so I fired him and represented myself with God by my side all the way, I won the case of ‘THE UNITED STATES vs JOSHUA ONOGE’ and my papers were expedited and today I’m a citizen of the United States.”
