Nelly Chinelo whose name is Chinelo Anyakei is a gospel singer, songwriter, and performing artist minister based in Anambra state in Nigeria. She started her music career at one of the fellowships of the Catholic Charismatic renewal of Nigeria as a lead singer.
Due to the regional success of her debut album titled My Sweet Jesus, her fans nicknamed her after the album.
Chinelo is a graduate of the Anambra State University. She describes her music as gospel, worship and contemporary gospel.
