Use Your Talents to Win Souls for Christ – Oloruntoba
Gospel artiste, Tolulope Oloruntoba, has called on Christians especially his colleagues in the music ministry, to invest their talents in preaching the good news and winning souls for Christ.
Oloruntoba said this during an interview with the Daily Independent newspaper.
According to him, “The fact is that some people started well and later got distracted with worldly things. Stardom also has its own effect on the career of musicians too.
“Gospel music is so broad and requires a lot of styles and creativity. The word, gospel literally means good news.
“As a gospel musician, you must be able to give distinctive music and live a righteous life. The primary aim must not be missing in everything you do.
“Also, it is important that gospel musicians as a matter of necessity live a worthy life and portray good example for people to emulate.
“The messages we preach should not only be by mouth, but must also be reflected in our lives. We must preach the good news and win souls for Christ through our talents.”
On his greatest challenges in ministry, he stated, “The challenges are enormous, but God’s grace and wisdom has been helping me all the way.
“Anyone that aspires to reach the top must face one challenge or the other, but the main thing is that one must always have a way to overcome challenges. These could also pave one’s way to the top.”
