Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s successor, Daniel Kolenda will be in Nigeria for a Gospel Crusade in Ogbomosho, Oyo State which begins today.

According to The Nation, the new president of Christ For All Nations, CFAN, will be visiting the city ahead of the crusade on March 22–25, 2018.

Kolende who took over the mantle of leadership of the American based evangelical ministry from Reinhard Bonnke at a fire crusade which held in Lagos in December 2017 will be visiting Ogbomosho for the first time as the new CFAN president.

According to the organisers, while the evangelist will be visiting the monarchs on a courtesy call, the Christian community in Lautech, Ogbomosho has made arrangement to seek spiritual intervention for the crisis rocking the institutions through the visit of the Kolenda.

Speaking at a press conference to heralded the four days crusade scheduled for the Government Technical College, Ogbomosho, Chairman, Central Working Committee, Dr. Ojo Abraham said unlike past crusades which was facilitated by the Christian community in the town, the evangelist got divine leading to visit the town and impact on the people.

Flanked by other members of the working committee at the conference which held at The Glad Tidings Baptist Church, Randa, Ogbomosho, Abraham said the security operatives including, police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp, (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps, Vigilante Group of Nigeria and paramilitary groups have all be contacted to ensure adequate security of lives and property of the people at the crusade.

Representative of CFAN, Chris Ewanlen pointed out that despite the many requests for crusade on the evangelist by Christian groups across the country, the coming Ogbomosho fire crusade is a direct instruction on Kolende to visit the town and impact on the people.

While noting that past crusades in different parts of the country has left the place and people better, the CFAN media coordinator assures that many lives will be touched and transformed during the four day crusade.
