If You Curse Nigeria, You Curse Yourself – PFN President
The National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Rev. Felix Omobude, has advised Nigerians to pray for the well-being of the country. He also urged the people to speak good about the country, stressing that people automatically bring curses upon themselves when they curse their country.
Omobude, who is the General Superintendent of Gospel Light International Ministries, (New Covenant Gospel Church), gave the admonition in his message during the National Prayer Conference organised by Nigeria Prays at the Ecumenical Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The clergyman said that despite the security and socio-economic challenges plaguing the nation, there would be a new Nigeria with the divine intervention of God.
In his remarks, Rev. Moses Aransiola, the National Director of Nigeria Prays, enjoined Christian faithful to intercede fervently for the country.
Aransiola, who is the President and General Overseer of Gethsemane Prayer Ministries International, said that Nigeria Prays believes in the efficacy of prayer. He said that praying for the country was a form of patriotism expected of all Christians.
Aransiola explained that the prayer network has been carrying out its mission of mobilising Nigerians to regularly pray for the healing and transformation of the nation through prayer rallies.
According to him, the prayer group had been engaged in the promotion of national values such as patriotism, transparency, integrity, incorruptibility in leadership and governance.
