The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) will host a presidential debate on December 10 in collaboration with the Legacy Initiative International.
Grand Patron of Legacy Initiative International, Kenny Martins, made the announcement on Tuesday in Lagos.
According to him, the debate will seek to promote issue-based electioneering campaigns toward the 2019 Presidential Elections, and will host candidates from the leading candidates – Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar.
Martins also announced a National Day of Prayer on January 10 with the , ‘Taking Nigeria Back to God.’ According to him, prayers will be led by the CAN President, Rev. Supo Ayokunle.
“The aim is to sensitise every single individual in the country on the need for total submission to the will of God for our country, and whatever will be the outcome of the general elections.
“We also pray for peace and progress to continue to reign in Nigeria throughout the elections period and afterwards,” he said.
