The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) worldwide, has ended the factional crisis rocking the church for the past 27 years.

To this end, the church is to hold a three-day peace and unity prayer at Ayodele Babalola Megacity, Ikotun Ile, Kwara State. It is aimed at praying for Nigeria and further solidifying the existing peace in the church.

In a statement made available to journalists saturday, the church praised the CAC President Worldwide, Pastor Abraham Akinosun and Prophet Gege Oju as well as another man of God, Pastor G.O. Lagunju for brokering peace between the factions.

The convener, Pastor Akinosun, revealed that the prayer will hold at the first prayer mountain between August 20 and 22, 2017.

The statement added that what the country needed now is prayer and that the special prayer will give them opportunity for church members to pray for Nigeria’s unity for sustainable development.

“The church needs to give glory to God because we knew what we passed through when the factional crisis lasted. We need to pray for sustainable peace and unity not only in our church but Nigeria at large.

“The leaders thank God for allowing peace and unity to reign again in Church after 27 years of crisis, through the efforts of the organizer of this special prayer . We have to give glory to God that we are together again” the church said.

Akinosun appealed to members to continue to see themselves as one, so that the efforts made in unifying the church won’t be in vain.
