Christian apologist Nabeel Qureshi, 34, has died on Saturday, September 16, 2017, after a year long battle with stomach cancer.
Sharing the sad news, Nabeel’s closest friend David Wood tweeted, “My beloved brother Nabeel, rest in peace and joy with the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. #FriendsForEternity.”
“Our brother Nabeel Qureshi has gone to be with the Lord. Please pray for his wife and family,” tweeted Mike Licona.
Ravi Zacharias who was a spiritual father and mentor to him also tweeted, “Nabeel Qureshi, your eyes will now see and your hands will now touch that which is only Real estate.”
Nabeel was born in California as a U.S. citizen to Pakistani immigrants who fled religious persecution at the hands of fellow Muslims.
Nabeel was raised in a devout Muslim home but became a Christian after examining the claims of Christ with the help of his dear friend, David Wood.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his dear wife, Michelle, daughter and loved ones.
“Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for them that love him,” 1 Corinthians 2:9
