An Egyptian man has been sentenced to death for killing an 82-year-old Christian doctor in Cairo.
The verdict came on Saturday after he was found guilty of the murder which occured in September 2017.
According to reports, the 40-year-old pretended to be a patient when he requested to see the doctor.
He stabbed the doctor as soon as he was shown into the clinic’s examination room. He also stabbed the physician’s assistant when she intervened to try and stop the attack.
