Multiple award-winning Fuji gospel maestro Mike Abdul begins the year teaming up with folk gospel music icon Tope Alabi in a new song- Iro Halleluyah.

Having released the audio on Boomplay, the traction on the song has called for a video visualizing the high energy and the joyous nature of the music.

Iro Halleluyah is translated as sounds of halleluyah in English. Speaking on the meaning and inspiration behind the song, Mike said; “the song was inspired by the need to make hope tangible. The need to make people consistently confess halleluyah as their reality”.

“It’s a proclamation song declaring Halleluyah as the only conclusion concerning all our Family, Projects, Jobs, health and every other endeavour.  Halleluyah is our Conclusion”.

IRO  HALLELUYAH was produced by Tyanx Obaro and the epic colourful video was directed by lexten films.

Mike is generally acclaimed as the maestro of Fuji gospel music as he literarily legitimized the gospel version of Afro folk sound, fuji. Evangelist Tope, on the other hand, is a legendary folk gospel icon. From dominating the soundtracks of Yoruba movies to topping the chart in the indigenous gospel music space, she has an amazing following and has made a lasting impact on the gospel music in Nigeria.

The combination of Mike and Tope on a song is surely an experience to cherish to as each of them contribute their unique music genius to this fresh and riveting tune.

Iro Halleluyah is also the title of the 18 track album set to be released this year.
