*Refuse to be Judas.*
(saved but slave to sin)
Scripture: *Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Hebrews 12:1*
The Generation of Judas is a generation of believers who are saved indeed but are still slave to sin. There is different between salvation and deliverance from yoke of sin. Many believers are saved, they actually had that revelation of Christ that brought them to repentance but they don’t move to the next level of deliverance from the grip of habitual sin.
Any habitual sin that you love and you find it difficult to forsake, It will take spiritual consistency to break yourself from your past lifestyle. Generation of Judas love their past life even while they still go to Church.
They have strong affection to certain sins and habits; masturbate, pornography, they keep friends and association that encourage them to provoke God.
I urge you in the name of Jesus don’t live your life like Judas. Judas had a weight of sin that he was not humble enough to confess to Jesus.
Peter denied the Lord but he wept and called upon the Lord for help. Judas betrayed his Lord but killed himself. His guilt killed him but Peter’s cry for mercy broke the yoke from his life.
*Feeling guilty will not solve the problem but your cry to God for help and practical separation from sin that grip over your life.
Be humble to cry for help over sin and habits that aim to lead you to eternal damnation. Cry to God for help. Look for somebody trust worthy you can share with.
Any sinful habith you protect will open you up to shame and eternal damnation.
Refused to be like Judas.
Prayer: *My father, I am sorry that I love my past life than your love that redeemed me. I come this morning, break the grip of these habitual sins in my life( mention them). Thank you Lord.*
