*They are looking at me*
Scripture: *_Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,* Hebrews 12:1_l
They are looking at you? Who are they? The crowd of witness. They are busy watching the way you run your way.
This year you will be a fulfilling christian if you will not compare anybody with your life. If you will not surround your life with excuses to fail God who by mercy redeemed you from grip of eternal destruction.
They are looking at us, the crowd of witness who had run this same race before us. The 3 Hebrews who did spare their lives before the furnace of fire are looking at you.
Daniel is looking at you who passed through several persecutions but stood on faith and refused to shift ground.
Joseph is looking at us, who was tempted with immorality but refused to give into the advantage of iniquity not minding prisoner garment.
They are looking at you, Paul is looking at you. Hear what He said:
in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.Thrice was I beaten with rods, once* was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep. 1 Cor 11: 23-25_
We have no excuse but to run our race looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher our faith.
Why will you because of this present pressure deny or deviate from faith. We have no excuse to fail the Lord, if the people mentioned above could win, you can win.
Don’t give up, don’t look back and don’t deviate.
They are looking at us; the crowd of witness.
Prayer: father give me grace to walk with you steadfastly.
